Dredging and Land Reclamation

Dredging and Land Reclamation works are usually linked to the construction and maintenance of ports and marinas, as well as the creation and maintenance of the respective access channels.

Included in this category of works is the deepening of sandy or muddy bottoms using suction dredgers or excavators mounted over platforms for more compact soils or even using explosives when in presence of rocky bottoms. Also in this category is construction of embankments by the conquest/reclamation of land from the sea, beach nourishment and repairing and reinforcement of dunes.

Depending on the characteristics of the work, the company uses its own resources, rented equipment or specialized subcontractors.
